This Cookie Policy explains how ScriptFlow ("we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use our application. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

ScriptFlow uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage and session storage) for the following purposes:

3.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the application to function properly. Without them, certain features would not work.

In addition to cookies, ScriptFlow uses browser local storage and session storage to store:

  • API Keys: Your automation platform API keys (Make.com, Zapier, n8n)
  • OAuth Tokens: Google authentication tokens for Apps Script
  • Project Data: Your project configurations and metadata
  • Application State: Current application state and user interface preferences
  • Settings: User preferences and configuration settings
Important: Local storage data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. This ensures your sensitive credentials stay secure on your local machine.

5. Third-Party Cookies

When you use ScriptFlow, you may encounter cookies from third-party services we integrate with:

5.1 Google Services

When authenticating with Google OAuth for Apps Script integration, Google may set cookies. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Managing Cookies

6.1 Browser Settings

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block cookies from specific websites
  • Block all cookies
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

6.2 Browser-Specific Instructions

Here's how to manage cookies in popular browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

6.3 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some features of ScriptFlow may not function properly:

  • Authentication: You may not be able to stay logged in to Google services
  • Preferences: Your settings and preferences will not be saved
  • Session Management: You may need to re-authenticate frequently
  • Functionality: Certain features may become unavailable

7. Managing Local Storage

To clear local storage data in ScriptFlow:

  1. Open your browser's Developer Tools (usually F12)
  2. Navigate to the "Application" or "Storage" tab
  3. Select "Local Storage" or "Session Storage"
  4. Find localhost:3002
  5. Right-click and select "Clear" or delete individual items

Warning: Clearing local storage will delete your stored API keys and project configurations. You will need to re-enter this information.

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Currently, there is no industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals. ScriptFlow does not currently respond to DNT browser signals, but we provide you with the ability to opt out of analytics tracking through application settings.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, our practices, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
