Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScriptFlow ("the Service," "Application," or "Software"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Important: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ScriptFlow. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScriptFlow is a local workflow automation application that provides:

  • Integration with Google Apps Script for deployment and management
  • Connection to automation platforms including Make.com, Zapier, and n8n
  • Project management and deployment tools
  • Local development environment for automation workflows

The Service runs locally on your computer on localhost:3002 and facilitates connections to third-party services.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

To use certain features of ScriptFlow, you may need to:

  • Authenticate with Google OAuth for Apps Script functionality
  • Provide API keys for automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n)
  • Have valid accounts with relevant third-party services

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and authentication credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring your credentials are stored securely on your local machine

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use ScriptFlow for lawful purposes including:

  • Developing and deploying Google Apps Script projects
  • Managing workflow automations across integrated platforms
  • Personal and commercial automation development

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws or third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software (except as permitted by law)
  • Use the Service to spam, phish, or send unsolicited communications
  • Violate the terms of service of integrated third-party platforms

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of ScriptFlow and its licensors. This includes:

  • Software code, design, and architecture
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding
  • Documentation and user guides
  • User interface and experience design

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create using ScriptFlow, including:

  • Apps Script projects and code
  • Workflow configurations and automations
  • Project metadata and descriptions

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

ScriptFlow integrates with third-party services including Google Apps Script, Make.com, Zapier, and n8n. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service:

  • Google APIs Terms of Service
  • Make.com Terms of Service
  • Zapier Terms of Service
  • n8n Terms of Service

We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or performance of third-party services.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 Service Provided "AS IS"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or availability

7.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCRIPTFLOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
  • Statements or conduct of third parties on or through the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

7.3 Local Application Disclaimer

ScriptFlow runs locally on your machine. We are not responsible for:

  • Data loss due to local storage failures
  • Conflicts with other software on your system
  • Security vulnerabilities in your local environment
  • Issues arising from third-party integrations

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScriptFlow and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your content or data

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the application
  • Deleting your local data and configurations
  • Revoking OAuth permissions and API keys

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Pose a security or legal risk

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • You must delete all copies of the Software
  • Provisions that should survive termination will continue (including liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute resolution)

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

10.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Add or remove features
  • Update software and dependencies

10.2 Terms Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ScriptFlow.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

12.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
